Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-Cell Prototype First Look

If you checked my blog, you would see I profiled the SLS a few months ago...this is the electric version and its a crazy innovation.

We’ve known about the all-electric Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell for quite some time now, as Mercedes detailed the model last July, but new specs, photos and video have all emerged demonstrating in greater depth what we can expect from the forthcoming electric supercar. The biggest question – performance – is said to be nearly that of the traditional SLS AMG, with with total output coming in at 526 horsepower and 649-pound-feet of torque thanks to the E-Cell’s four electric motors. That’s enough to propel the SLS AMG E-Cell from 0-62 mph in 4.0 seconds, compared to 3.8 seconds in the standard SLS.

Vans Vault “Inca Flower” SK8-HI

Along with a red/green colorway, Vans Vault releases this nice grey/purple version of its new Inca Flower SK8-HI, part of the latest seasonal designs for the Vault campaign. The shoes pair a buttery grey suede upper with metal eyelets and intricate Inca Flower embroidery adding a different element to the mix.

These are probably one of the coolest Vans I've ever seen!!!

WeSC and CASIO come together for next spring as the two collaborate on CASIO’s signature G-SHOCK DW-5600 model. Featuring a familiar square shape, the watch is brightly lit thanks to the yellow colorway and WeSC markings on the band. Available spring of 2011.

Adidas will continue their collaboration with Lucasfilm’s Star Wars for the 2010 Autumn/Winter season with the release of the Han Solo SL-72 model. The shoes will definitely bring back memories of the classic scene where Darth Vader froze the mercenary, Han Solo, in carbonite. The adidas Han Solo SL-72 also feature details from the character including his signature belt as well as the red accents on his clothes. Look for these to release this coming Autumn!!!

Hermes Carre H Watch

Hermes with the help of notable French designer and architect Marc Berthier create the Carre H watch. A thick and robust casing features a relatively subtle face with a clear look in the backing the Swiss automatic Sowind/Girard-Perregaux caliber GP3200 movement. The Hermes Carre H Watch will be released in a limited run of 173 pieces with a suggested retail price of $15,000.

I had no idea Hermes also makes watches, this is beautiful.
